Verdict
It was only a matter of time before we had a race where every runner in the field was set to run off the same mark and there is next to nothing to split the majority of them on form. However, the weight-for -age allowance for the bottom three gives them a chance and Seraph, with Jamie Mackay booked for the ride, is fancied to take advantage. The John Harris-trained four-year-old holds Dancing Tilly and Fraternity on recent form and has a real chance to uphold the form on these terms. Anthony Ebenezer reverts to the Flat today in a bid to keep him ticking over and he is another to consider on the pick of his form. Connor Dore's charge goes well around here and can give the selection plenty to think about. However, Seraph is unexposed at the trip and will be difficult to get past if he takes to the surface. He has no doubts about the trip though and he could be good value today.
