        Verdict

        Seven furlongs is about the limit of Feast Of Romance's stamina but he is holding his form well at the moment and he is fancied to record his eighth course victory if putting it all in today. Those last comments can applied to the majority of the field, who are not the most consistent bunch to have ever been assembled on a racecourse. However, Mizhar, Spindor and Bijan are all capable of giving the selection plenty to think about and all are worth monitoring for each way support. Whereas Larky's Lob, will not have to pull out all the stops to defy his 6lb penalty today; especially when his rider's claim is factored in. That said, it was a very poor race he won last week and it will not be a big shock to see him find one more determined in this slightly stronger grade. And that one could easily be Feat Of Romance, who is currently 17lb lower in the handicap than he was at his best. Therefore, he is no forlorn hope to settle for as the selection in a moderate race like this.
