        Verdict

        INGLEBY MACKENZIE is upped only 2lb after winning over today’s trip at Doncaster and an apprentice’s allowance negates that rise so he should be thereabouts at the finish once again. Take A Turn gave the impression this longer trip would suit when scoring over 1m2f at Ayr recently and Clenymistra won over the same distance at Redcar back in May. Broughtons Knight ran poorly in a maiden handicap last time but the step up to middle-distances may well suit Princess Nearco, who also has a 7lb claimer helping her cause in this.
