Uace Mac, Rose of Inchinor and Expensive Detour are the three to look at here, and Uace Mac is taken to step up on a promising re-appearance and claim this. In a weak contest, Rose of Inchinor looks sure to go close. She ran well at Salisbury in a maiden, although her efforts thereafter tailed off. She clearly has talent, but may need more cut in the ground to be seen to best effect. Placed twice in maidens in his first two starts, Expensive Detour then ran well in the Tattersalls Sales Race at Newmarket. His fitness first time out has to be taken on trust, but he will be a tough nut to crack. Uace Mac hails from a small yard, but should not be under-estimated. She stepped up considerably on her two year old debut effort when leading for much of the way at Pontefract on her seasonal re-appearance, before finishing third. The winner has run well in defeat since, and Uace Mac can win at a decent price.
