In depth

Verdict

Bronze Dancer, Gee Dee Nen and Most Definitely are the leading candidates here, and Bronze Dancer can take this intriguing contest. Gee Dee Nen has only won once in 17 starts and therefore has to be treated with caution. However, he ran very well to be a close third in a big field at Ripon last time and can go well. Whether he will have the strong pace he needs to be seen to best effect is a moot point though. Most Definitely has shown his capability at this trip, having finished third on his two most recent attempts. He can run well again as he drops down the weights. Bronze Dancer ran well on his re-appearance at Catterick, although a beaten favourite, and he is yet to prove he stays this trip. However, the yard is starting to hit form, and this sharp track is not such a stiff test of stamina as some. Bronze Dancer, twice a winner last season, can resume winning ways and take the gold prize here.
