Verdict

Goodnight Charlie returns to action 10lb higher than when scoring at Cheltenham in April though a conditional’s 7lb allowance helps on that score. But PETITE POWER (NAP) has a fitness advantage having also won at Cheltenham on last month’s reappearance and he gets the vote to defy a 5lb rise with Fergal O’Brien’s yard in such good form. Diger Daudaie won over these fences in March and will be sharper for a recent comeback while Coopers Square showed good progress last season though has been raised a further 9lb for finishing second at Warwick when last in action. Back To The Thatch still looks high enough in the weights but drops in class and is preferred to both Tanarpino and Irish Octave.
