Verdict

FONTAINE COLLONGES, backed into favouritism on seasonal reappearance in a decent Wetherby handicap, performed as if the run would do her the world of good. We're into 'Venetia time" at this part of the season and the mare can step up and go close. Precious Eleanor will also be all the better for her reappearance when a solid second to Barbados Blue at Fakenham and prove competitive off a 1lb higher mark. Global Harmony has topweight on chasing debut but isn't discounted and Oriental Cross is up 4lb for a Ffos Las win but this is tougher. Docte Dina is hard to assess and Roseisaroseisarose, back chasing, gets plenty of weight all round in an open heat.
