        Verdict

        These look like a fairly moderate bunch, and the fact that Frieda Kahlo was thought good enough to contest a Listed race last season means she should be good enough to win this. Geoff Wragg's filly finished last behind 1,000 Guineas prospect Khulood in the Oh So Sharp Stakes, but had earlier shown plenty of promise when chasing home the well-regarded Camlet at Yarmouth and that form should be good enough to win here. Sir Michael Stoute's Candelabra floundered on softish ground at Ayr on her second start last year but had earlier shown promise on her debut at Kempton, so is likely to give the selection most to do. Phantom Flame has only shown modest form in a couple of runs on sand, but may be better on turf, while both Eujane and Love On Request need to improve significantly on their debut efforts to play a part in the finish here. Willie Haggas' debutante, Mi Amor, would not have to be a world beater to recah the frame here, so is worth keeping an eye on in the market, particular as she is a half sister to a couple of winners.
