        Verdict

        Another low grade handicap, but having said that, it does look quite competitive. Handicap debutante Expertise looks the one to be with. Ed Dunlop's filly had three runs as a juvenile all in the space of a fortnight last back end. He must have been taking lessons from Sir Mark Prescott. However, it has had the desired effect as she comes into this of a mark little better than that required to win a seller and as she is from the same family as the smart middle-distance winner Xtra, she can be expected to show her true colours now she steps up in trip. Literacy's form is nothing to write about and she failed dismally when stepped up in trip at Yarmouth. From the same family as the high-class miler Duck Row, it could be that she finds this trip beyond her. Border Tale has shown he has a small race in him, but he has looked a little slow and may do better on a more galloping track, while others to consider include Titian Flame, who didn't have much luck in running at Warwick and Silver Louie, who comes from a strong staying family which includes Derby winner Shahrastani, Grade 1 winner Sharannpour and Group 1 winner Shakapour, and now he faces a stamina test for the first time, better can be expected.
