In depth
Verdict
Kelpie has yet to reproduce her All-Weather form on turf, but there is no doubt she is well treated in this if she was anywhere near as good. It still may be worth taking a chance with her as she has upwards of 10lbs in hand of her rivals on that All-Weather rating. Gingko needs a strongly run race to bring out the best in him, something he isn't guaranteed to get. Main threat could prove to be Den's-Joy, who would certainly be the one to beat if she could reproduce her effort at Yarmouth, where she was beaten by a couple of unexposed three-year-olds. Four times a course winner here, she reserves her best for the Thames side track and deserves the utmost respect.
