      Verdict

      Sea Youmzain finished second on both starts last year but steps up in trip along with most of these. Queen Of Connaught finished a modest fourth over 1m2f at Chelmsford last time and Strictly Magic wasn’t beaten that far when only fifth over 1m3f at Kempton. But SARVI finished only a length behind the winner when fourth at Lingfield on her recent debut and Marco Botti’s filly gets the speculative vote. Phantasmic can only improve from last year’s poor debut effort while breeding suggests the newcomer Kehal should stay the distance.
