In depth
Verdict
The feature race on the card has predictably drawn a competitive field with a host of in-form rivals in opposition. Del Mar Sunset showed plenty of resolution to edge out Oscar Pepper when the pair clashed over course and distance last month. The form looks solid with the pair well clear of the third and there should be little between them once again on the revised ratings. Prince Tulum has also been in winning form this winter and looks the type who is capable of further improvement while Creskeld has shown progressive form to land three of his last four starts on the all-weather and is another to consider. Top weight Eastern Breeze has a touch of class and should be on the premises but Invader may find this on the sharp side and could prove vulnerable despite respectable efforts at Lingfield recently. In a wide open event, marginal preference is for Lygeton Lad who has proved a real money spinner for connections winning two competitive handicaps this winter. The five-year-old looked desperately unlucky not to add to the tally when finding trouble in running at Lingfield last month and is taken to make amends off the same mark with a useful claimer on board.
