Verdict
Not a race that will take much winning and Gaelic Princess stands out at the weights. Kevin Ryan's filly showed a consistent level of form in her first season, winning three times including over course and distance as well as putting up fair efforts in useful nurseries. The three-year-old will be having her first start for five months but doesn't need to be at her peak to prevail at this level. The Baroness has been in fair form of late and makes a quick reappearance after finishing a close fourth in better company at Lingfield earlier in the week but needs to improve further to trouble the selection. Minirina has struggled to recapture her juvenile form while selling plate-winner Star Applause faces no easy task on these terms.
