Verdict
Cartronageeraghlad is a tough sort and gets the nod over stablemate Among Dreams, Chase The Rainbow and Desert Image. Jamie Osborne has had a fantastic year already but fully intends to keep the pot boiling during the winter and is a trainer to follow in these type of events. Cartronageeraghlad, successful at Southwell in June, was given the Fallon treatment when beating a big field at Doncaster recently. He defied a six-pound penalty with the aid of first-time blinkers, and the plan was then to run here. However, connections decided to put him in at Lingfield two days ago, and saw him go off too fast for his own good on the faster Polytrack. Back on fibresand, he can bounce back, and makes slightly more appeal than Among Dreams, a debut winner on soft ground at Haydock for Tony Newcombe. She was thrown in at the deep end when down the field behind the useful Cartography at Beverley on her first outing for Jamie Osborne but obviously has ability. Chase The Rainbow left the money in the bookies¿ satchels at Redcar, while Desert Image has shown just a glimmer of ability, so we are happy to rely on Cartronageeraghlad.
