Verdict

The longer trip today will suit MZURI BAY and he is preferred to Oursininlaw. Brendan Duke's gelding didn't flourish here earlier in the month but the return to three miles today is in his favour and as long as it doesn't pour down he should run well. Oursininlaw has lots of weight to shoulder courtesy of victories at Cartmel and Fakenham when well-placed and he needs to pull out more, as successful point-to-pointer Sir Ronan and the quality chaser Victor Daly rate as big dangers. Our Guardian Angel's record is one of frustration and it will take a brave punter to back her to win, whilst don't be surprised to see improvement from the mare Weldone Honey now she tackles hurdles for an in-form yard.
