Verdict
COEUR DE LIONNE should be able to go one better than on debut at Newton Abbot in June. He looked to have that race at his mercy until running around and ceding the advantage at the last from which he couldn't recover but the pair did finish a long way clear of the field. Tony McCoy takes over from Harry Skelton in the saddle which should help avoid a repeat of his errant ways and it would be no surprise to see him hold on to the former smart Flat performer a little longer and deliver his challenge late in the day. Mutadarrej has been in good form on the level for his new yard and could be a danger if translating that improvement to this game, Points Of View has place claims with Global of interest on his hurdling bow.
