ABSTEMIOUS struggled in the Gimcrack here last time having won easily over 6f at the track before that when making all. This shorter trip shouldn’t be a problem for Kevin Ryan’s charge on that evidence. Strong Power also made all at Lingfield earlier though was beaten under a penalty last time while Rosa and Spirit Of The Sky are both maiden winners with the former preferred. The Bell Conductor was beaten only a neck at Thirsk on his debut back in June and looks to have claims while Art Power is another looking to take advantage of the weight concession.
