Perpignan lock Robins Tchale-Watchou has extended his contract with the Top 14 side for three more years.
The 26-year-old Cameroon-born forward signed a 12-month contract with Perpignan last August after being released by Stade Francais but has seen his form blossom at the Catalan club
Tchale-Watchou will now remain with Perpignan until 2013.
Meanwhile, Perpignan three-quarter Julien Candelon is to undergo an operation on a badly twisted wrist and will be out for up to three weeks.
Candelon suffered the injury in the 46th minute of his club's 29-3 win over Montpellier in the Top 14 at the weekend.
