Harlequins director of rugby John Kingston praised Marland Yarde's efforts in their win over Northampton as his chances of England selection increase.
The 24-year-old wing was watched by the national team's head coach Eddie Jones during the 20-9 victory at The Stoop.
Jones saw Yarde produce an energetic display both in defence and attack as Harlequins moved above their opponents in the Aviva Premiership table.
Bath winger Anthony Watson is set to miss the forthcoming autumn internationals after sustaining a broken jaw during England's midweek training camp in Brighton.
With Jack Howell also facing several weeks out of action with a torn thigh, Yarde is presenting a good case to be called into the squad as a replacement.
Kingston said: "He was absolutely terrific. The season started a little bit slowly for him. He had a couple of knocks but in the last couple of weeks he's been fantastic.
"I've got a huge amount of time for him. He puts everything into his training and everything into his play.
"He was outstanding today. I think he's really put his weight behind everything this year and he always gives 100 per cent."
