Sam James signs new contract at Sale Sharks

Centre Sam James has signed a new two-year deal to stay at Sale Sharks.
The 22-year-old has scored four tries in 17 appearances for the Sharks this season in the Aviva Premiership and the Challenge Cup.
James came through the club's academy to make his Premiership debut for Sale against Northampton in April 2014 and this season has established himself as the first-choice outside centre.
"Sam [James] is maturing into a class player," said director of rugby Steve Diamond.
"He is a dedicated professional who absorbs all the information and guidance that the coaches and senior players throw at him."
Formerly a Senior Colt at Manchester Rugby Club, James played for England Under-19s while studying at Wilmslow High School and pulled on a Sharks shirt for the senior side for the first time in an LV= Cup match against Saracens.
"I was more than happy to sign a new deal with the club I grew up with," he said. "I am looking forward to the rest of this season as we have plenty to play for."
