Cardiff Blues marked Jonah Lomu's death with one minute of applause ahead of their European Rugby Challenge Cup against Harlequins.

Lomu, the great New Zealand winger who passed away on Wednesday, made 10 appearances for the Welsh club back in 2005.

But the Blues were unable to win in his honour as the visitors sealed a 32-20 victory in their Pool 3 clash.

Tim Visser, Oliver Lindsay-Hague, Charlie Walker and Danny Care all scored second-half tries for Harlequins with two conversions and two penalites from Ben Botica.
