Verdict
Mizhar has proved a model of consistency of late and is narrowly preferred while Only One Legend, Blessingindisguise and Prix Star appear the main dangers. John Quinn's charge is not the force of old but has dropped to an attractive mark this term and showed plenty of determination to land a Pontefract seller over this trip in April. The seven-year-old confirmed his well-being with two subsequent placed efforts in useful handicap company and looks the safest option to reproduce his form against some unreliable performers. Only One Legend scored twice during a profitable all-weather campaign last winter but now looks in the handicapper's grip and is held by the selection on Newcastle running in April. Blessingindisguise failed to build on a promising reappearance effort when below his best at Nottingham last time but is well treated on the pick of his form and shouldn't be discounted. Prix Star is another on a favourable mark at present but has shown little this season to suggest that he can resume winning ways on this occasion.
