Some progressive types in opposition and the vote goes to Ayun while others to consider include Hoh Buzzard, Chetak and Pennyghael. John Dunlop's well-bred filly, who hails from the same family as 1994 derby hero Erhaab, could scarcely have been more impressive when making all to land a classified event over ten furlongs at Epsom last time. The daughter of Swain remains fairly treated and will be suited by this sharp track so should prove hard to beat with conditions in her favour. Hoh Buzzard confirmed the promise of previous races when scoring comfortably over a mile at Newmarket last time and looks the type to continue to progress so looks a big danger despite racing off a 6lb higher mark. Chetak ran promisingly at Haydock last time and, with her stable now in good order following a quiet period, she has to enter calculations while Pennyghael is an unexposed type who is open to further improvement and this recent Folkestone maiden winner should give a good account of a feather weight on her handicap debut but Ayun is fancied to make all from a favourable draw.
