Verdict

Forbidden Planet missed out by only a neck at Chelmsford bidding for hat-trick but is upped in class for this. Cosmeapolitan looks best of Alan King’s three runners on recent form given stablemates Caspar The Cub and Lexington Law were both well beaten by Count Calabash when the latter scored over 1m4f here last month but KELLY’S DINO (NAP) is preferred. Karl Burke’s charge made an encouraging reappearance when runner-up in this grade at Wolverhampton and went on to score twice last season having finished in front of Fire Fighting when beaten less than a length in this contest last year. Dommersen is in fine form but faces a much tougher task than of late while Desert Wind hasn’t raced since July.
