        Verdict

        Analyze gets the verdict over regular rival Omaha City and Blue Mariner in the penultimate event on the card. Analyze and Omaha City have locked horns twice here recently with the score one apiece. Analyze came out on top the first time but then Omaha City made the most of a weight pull to reverse the form last month. Now with the weights revised again, Analyze gets two pounds for the three-parts of a length that separated them last time they met and so it must be his turn again. Walter Swinburn has now joined the training ranks and it will not be long before he sends out a steady stream of winners from his father-in-law's yard. Blue Mariner came out on top in a close finish at Wolverhampton and should be in the shake-up here. Franksalot meets Analyze on the same terms as when behind him here just over a fortnight ago and would appear held, and for the winner we return to Brendan Powell's runner.
