        Verdict

        A host of these hold claims; not least Satin Finish, who is fancied to confirm her narrow superiority over Right Answer if she runs up the level she showed at Ascot. Mary Read and Roodeye are well regarded types that also have claims on the best of their efforts up to press. The former especially as she is an honest filly that has run her heart out each time she has been asked a question. However, she has to carry a 5lb penalty today and that may be her undoing. Sumora is another to keep a close eye on in the betting as she beat a useful yardstick last time and support for the daughter of Danehill could be significant. Nevertheless, Satin Finish was not beaten far in the Princess Margaret Stakes and she is taken to have the edge in terms of experience this afternoon.
