Verdict
This is a competitive handicap in which Flipando, Hazewind and My Paris look to be the leading players and the vote is given to Flipando. The selection will handle the conditions and ran well enough at Newmarket's July meeting to suggest that he should be capable of taking a race of this nature. He was well supported that day at Newmarket and compensation could await for his supporters here. Hazewind is a course and distance winner who is in really good heart at present. However the suspicion is that these days his best form is over a slightly longer trip and for that reason he is overlooked on this occasion. My Paris will have no problem with the conditions and he ran well from the front to defeat Moonlight Man at Leicester last time. However, he might not get the run of the race here and although he should make the frame we will take him on. Of the remainder, Doitnow is from an in-form yard and is entitled to respect, but for the winner we return to Flipando.
