Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Balakiref, Fonthill Road and Tony The Tap and the vote goes to Fonthill Road. The selection won well last time out when defeating Watching and although that form has since been let down he has conditions to suit and with his stable still in top form he is taken to defy his penalty. Balakiref rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when defeating Highland Warrior but this looks much more competitive and for that reason he is opposed. Tony The Tap is another worthy of respect, however his best form of late has been over the minimum trip and he will do well to win this off top weight. Branston Tiger won well on the AW last time out and is one of the least exposed in the field so is worth noting in the market but the fact that connections are applying a visor is off-putting. Of the remainder Wyatt Earp is another from a yard in form and could go well at a price but Fonthill Road is in good form and looks the one to beat.
