Verdict

Coleorton Dancer is in great heart at present but may be worth taking on here, and we will do so with Marching Song, with Spy King the other put forward for the shortlist. The selection won well last time out when defeating Averting. He comes into handicap company for the first time and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to score with conditions to suit. Coleorton Dancer rates the main danger as he has won his last three races, but he is stepped up in trip here, and as his best form is over 5 furlongs we will take him on. Spy King is also stepping into handicap company for the first time and he should go well, but he is the type that might do better over slightly further in time and we will overlook him on this occasion. Of the remainder, Grand Place won well last time and looks to have decent place prospects, but for the winner we return to Marching Song.
