Dream On Willie gets the nod over Almire du Lia, Brave Thought and Double You Cubed in a competitive affair. Plenty in with chances here including Dream On Willie who has been a model of consistency this term, unfortunately finding one too good on more than one occasion. Graham Lee is used to him by now though and was on board when Eric Elliot's charge scored at Wetherby in November. He has been stuck on a mark of 100 for some time so the handicapper must think that he is capable of improving, and so do we. Almire du Lia was a remote third to the useful Mister McGoldrick at Ayr in February but has won since and ran well over further at Kelso last time. The drop back in trip will not hinder his chances, nor will the ground. Brave Thought is another consistent sort and will be helped by Tony Dobbin, while Double You Cubed, given a break since turning out three times in a week in March, may have to find a bit more at this level. Master George was still in with a shout when falling at the 12th at Exeter last month and is another to conjure with. With so many imponderables, only a small wager is advised on Dream On Willie.
