Verdict

Very few of these have realistic claims and none have stronger claims than Dream Rose, who is preferred to Hazelhurst and Jack Reacher. The last mentioned would have claims on the form shown in a two-year-old maiden here last term but has yet to prove himself on ground this soft so may be best watched. Mind Out has been placed in a couple of maidens on the all-weather at Southwell but this looks tougher and of more interest may be Karl Burke's Pab Special, who is beginning to look exposed but has one of the highest BHB ratings of these. Ocean Sunrise is another runner from the yard of Mark Johnston but he did not seem to handle the soft at Doncaster when last seen and of more interest may be Howard Johnson's Hazelhurst, who handled cut in the ground on a couple of occasions last term. Not surprisingly, being by Anabaa, Dream Rose has shown her best form on a soft surface and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open her account.
