In depth

Verdict

Mobane Flyer was value for more than the winning margin would suggest in a similar contest at Newcastle last week and is taken to follow up here at the main expense of Inside Story and Purple Dancer. The last mentioned should be better suited by the softer ground here than on his reappearance and could be of interest but Alan Swinbank's gelding may struggle to concede weight away all round. Weet A Head has a bit to find on official BHB ratings and was well held in a similar contest at Chepstow last time. Eminence Gift has claims at the weights and goes on the ground so cannot be discounted along with Mick Easterby's Inside Story. The last mentioned is strictly held by Mobane Flyer on running at Newcastle last time though and Richard Fahey's gelding is taken to follow up.
