In depth

Verdict

Luke Morris is three out of three on Drawback and he gets the vote to improve that record further here with another win at the main expense of perennial runner-up Augustine and Parnassian. The selection has handled the step up to this trip very well and he looks sure to run another big race despite having a 6lb penalty for his latest win. This ground holds no fears and assuming that he isn't too keen early on (has refused to settle in the past), he can win again. Peter Hiatt's gelding Augustine is the model of consistency but as a result of that he continues to inch up the weights without winning. However on the flip side he has won off a higher mark in the past and so mustn't be ruled out. Parnassian is very much at home on soft ground so if the forecast rain comes then he would have a great chance. The visor is left on (had them on for the first time when last seen and ran ok in them) and he can reach the frame. Dual-purpose horses Looks The Business and Ground Patrol should be watched carefully in the market for signs of support, however Drawback is in great heart and can win again.
