In depth

Verdict

Winged Farasi gets the nod to win again. Magroom and Sularno make it to the shortlist. The selection won comfortably last time out over course and distance (with the re-opposing Red Flare back in second) when a well-backed favourite and assuming that he handles today's slower conditions (sire did), he can win again. Although up six pounds for that win, he could rack up a sequence. Red Flare is four pounds better off with the selection for that two length defeat but that may not be enough so is passed over, along with Baby Dordan who let down favourite backers when last seen and is becoming frustrating. Magroom is very consistent but his recent wins came in poor sellers. Pigeon Flight needs to bounce back after a poor last run so of more interest could be Sularno. Hughie Morrison's horses are running well and there should be more improvement to come from his son of Medicean. A toughie for punters to finish with and Winged Farasi gets the tentative vote.
