Verdict

Arecibo ran a blinder in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot and should again beat Stone Of Destiny, though Keep Busy was drawn on the unfavoured far side and should get much closer. Came From The Dark made Lazuli pull out all the stops in the Group 3 Palace House at Newmarket but is no better off at the weights. Count D'orsay is a tough handicapper but has never raced in a grade this high and may be found wanting but Ainsdale is running well and could go well at a price. ATALIS BAY faces his toughest task to date but he is an improving three-year-old who was a cosy winner here three weeks ago. He should handle soft going so gets a tentative vote to beat his elders.
