In depth

Verdict

Restorer has been hinting at a revival but PIVOINE came through smoothly to beat a subsequent winner at Haydock and can defy a 3lb rise, even though he doesn’t have much in hand over Makram on a line through the runner-up. Classical Wave has changed stables and gone up 6lb since he was disqualified after finishing past the post at Windsor but it would be no surprise to see Dream With Me bounce back from a poor run at Epsom with Frankie taking over the reins while Man Of The Night ended a long losing run at Doncaster with the help of the stewards, though appears closely matched with Classical Wave on collateral form.
