Verdict
Catmint is in cracking form and can quicken off a decent pace at the end of her races and is therefore taken to complete a hat-trick here. Coming good at Ripon in August, she followed up at Beverley after a short break and as her trainer Henry Candy feels she may be over the top shortly, it may pay to catch her again now while she is on a high. Scythian should be the main challenger to the selection. A winner of a Windsor maiden on fast ground in July, the colt was second to Favola at Sandown last time, though the latter has done nothing for that form since. Go Polar wouldn't be without a chance, though she was outbattled by Sharpbill at Goodwood last time and Malapropism, winner of a five furlong maiden at Redcar in July, is also a contender.
