In depth

Verdict

Plane Painter, Right Option and Alnwick are the three to look at here, with Right Option taken to come out on top. Plane Painter has only won twice in 19 starts and his efforts this season have suggested he is a little one paced. He was a close second in a three runner affair last time, and though he can go well, others look sharper. Alnwick has run some solid races this season, finishing a close second at Kempton recently. His best efforts have been on an all-weather surface and he is taken on. Right Option is a regular over this trip and returns here after a four month break. He won three times last year and looks mildly progressive. One of his wins came on a similar fast surface and Right Option looks just that.
