Max Clark says he is not ruling out England or Wales for the time being

LEICESTER, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 03: Max Clark of Bath Rugby scores his first try of the match during the Aviva Premiership match between Leicester Tigers a

Bath centre Max Clark says he has not decided whether to commit his international future to England or Wales.

The issue was raised again after another fine display from Clark at the weekend, the 21-year bagging a pair of tries as Bath won at Leicester for the first time since 2003.

Clark turned down the chance to tour with Wales over the summer but says he simply wanted more time before committing himself either way.

Quoted in The Sun, Clark said: "It's a tricky one.

"I'm only 21 and I'm half English and half Welsh. I don't know where I want my future to go.

"It's an open question and a tough one. I had never really thought about it and the Wales call-up was put upon me, and I thought that at this age I wanted to keep my options open.

"I didn't say no definitely. It was all quite sudden and I would never say never.

"My (Welsh) mum is still pushing me that way. Maybe there will be a few more questions at the end of the year, who knows, I just have to keep playing well for Bath."
