New setback for Toulouse

Toulouse's fly-half injury curse has struck again after Jean Doussaint became the latest No.10 to head to the treatment room.

Toulouse's fly-half injury curse has struck again after Jean Doussaint became the latest No.10 to head to the treatment room. The rookie fly-half joins Frederic Michalak, David Skrela and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde on the sidelines after breaking his nose in the pre-season friendly against Biarritz. With Skrela out until Christmas and Elissalde yet to appear in the pre-season games, Doussaint had been in line to start against Montauban in the season opener. However the pressure is now on for Michalak to prove that he can play despite suffering a hamstring injury. Toulouse also have doubts over Yannick Jauzion, with the France centre - one of the possibles for the No.10 jersey - still on his way back after having his tonsils removed. Another blow for coach Guy Noves is the loss of Fijian winger Maleli Kunavore facing three months out after breaking his arm against Biarritz.
