The 32-year-old, who also spent three years at Toulouse, joins a Viadana side which will help form Aironi Rugby when it joins the Magners League. According to L'Equipe Perugini, who has 71 caps for Italy, will be joined at Viadana by Gloucester lock Marco Bortolami and Saracens hooker Fabio Ongaro. Saracens tightead Carlos Nieto and loosehead Matias Agüreo are also rumoured to be on the move. Stade Français flank Sergio Parisse and Clermont centre Gonzalo Canale have also been approached, but have yet to make a decision.
