Former Ireland centre appointed as new backs coach

Former Ireland international Kevin Maggs has joined Moseley as the club's new backs coach. Maggs, who won 70 caps for Ireland in the centres, will assist head coach Ian Smith while he will also be available to play for the Championship outfit. Maggs arrives at the club following his departure from Rotherham at the end of last season and he will replace Don Caskie, who has been appointed backs coach for the Georgian national team earlier. Maggs told the club's official site "I am delighted to be joining such a famous club as Moseley which has a tradition of attractive back play going back many years. "I hope I will be able to build on the improvements which Don has brought to the club's backs over recent seasons whilst also bringing some new ideas into the mix."
