Defence coach replaces Bernini
Former Wales defence guru Rowland Phillips has been confirmed as Aironi's new head coach.
The winless Italian outfit have opted to reorganise their coaching and management set-up, with former head coach Franco Bernini appointed as the new technical manager.
Phillips initially joined Aironi as their defence coach, having previously worked with the Ospreys and Wales in the same role.
However he will now lead the coaching side, with Andrew Scotney and Antonio Zanichelli training the backs and Andrea Moretti looking after the forwards.
Bernini's new role will see him look after the development of the young players at Aironi's feeder teams GranDucato and Crociati.
