US Eagles scrum-half has found chances limited at Sale
The Dragons have agreed a deal to bring US Eagles scrum-half Mike Petri to Rodney Parade for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old from Brooklyn arrives from Sale Sharks after finding his opportunities limited at Edgeley Park since joining in the summer.
With former All Black Danny Lee having retires, the Dragons have been on the look out for cover - and head coach Paul Turner believes the 17 times capped Petri fits the bill.
"Mike has got a good pedigree and is a good professional," said Turner.
"He didn't really get an opportunity at Sale because of Dwayne Peel so we have taken him until the end of the season as a direct replacement for Danny Lee."
