Doncaster bolster squad with Ireland's Burke-Flynn
Doncaster Knights have announced Royce Burke-Flynn as their latest signing ahead of next season.
The tighthead prop, who made his name with Leinster academy, arrives at Castle Park from French side Montauban.
And director of rugby Brett Davey hopes the 24-year-old will be an ideal addition to a competitive front row which already includes the likes of Steve Boden and Stuart Corsar.
Davey said: "Royce is exactly what I was looking for to compliment what we have in the front row, a highly competitive scrummager with a deep love for the game.
Experience
"The fact he has spent time developing the art of front-row play in countries such as Ireland, South Africa, France and Italy gives him an experience level above most 24-year-old props."
Prior to joining the Knights, Burke-Flynn spent time with Italian side Livorno and South African outfit Western Province.
And the Irishman also represented Leinster at Schools, Development XV and A level as well as Ireland Schools and U19 sides.
Davey has also added Chris Planchant to his squad after the No.8 proved he is back to his best after knee surgery.
The Swansea-born forward had his spell at Castle Park cut short during the 2009/10 season through injury.
However he proved his fitness playing for Pontefraxt last season and has been rewarded with a new deal with the Knights.
