Championship leaders sign up Lilley
RFU Championship leaders Bristol have strengthened their squad ahead of the play-offs with the addition of Mark Lilley from Bath.
The 24-year-old prop has joined the club on a dual-registration agreement until the end of the season.
Lilley has made only seven appearances for Bath since he graduated from the club's academy, making his debut against Saracens in 2009.
Effective
Lilley, who has been capped at England Under-20s level, becomes the fourth Bath player to join Bristol ahead of the end of season play-offs - with Josh Ovens, Ben Mosses and Matt Keyte already at the Memorial Ground.
With Bristol set to embark on a play-off mission to return to the Premiership following their relegation in 2009 coach Liam Middleton believes Lilley has a lot to offer.
"Mark's an effective scrummager who will provide us with further options in the front row," he told the club's official site.
"The play-offs are a long and gruelling campaign and I believe Mark will contribute to the club during this period."
