Former Gloucester back-row forward Akapusi Qera will captain Fiji in Saturday's Millennium Stadium clash against Wales.

Qera leads a side that also includes powerful Leicester back Vereniki Goneva and the Ospreys' Josh Matavesi.

Visa issues forced Goneva to miss Fiji's 40-15 defeat against France in Marseille but he features again in midfield alongside Nemani Nadolo, while Matavesi lines up at fly-half, where his half-back partner will be Glasgow star Nikola Matawalu.

Fiji, World Cup pool opponents for Wales next year, have arrived in Cardiff and will be hoping to build on the 16-16 draw with the hosts on their last Millennium Stadium visit four years ago.

"The return of Goneva to the team, and Nadolo to the starting line-up adds strength and experience to our backline," said coach John McKee.
