Wales prop Aaron Jarvis is likely to be sidelined for six weeks and flanker Dan Baker for four to give the Ospreys an injury crisis.
Joe Bearman and Lloyd Peers were already missing the busy festive period.
“It’s a case of ongoing assessment with Dan,” said the Ospreys medical performance manager Chris Towers.
“We are unable to set a return-to-play date at this point, but he is unlikely to feature again before the turn of the year.”
Treatment
Towers added of the others: "Lloyd has had a scan which confirms the damage to his ankle ligaments. We will now discuss with an ankle specialist the options for his treatment before deciding what option is the best one for him over the next few days.
“Joe has injured his abductor muscle and is looking at a six to eight week recovery period.
“Aaron tore his pectoral muscle playing for Wales against South Africa. The scan has confirmed that he doesn’t require surgery, but he is still looking at a recovery period of around six weeks."
Ospreys travel to Paris to take on Racing Metro in the European Champions Cup this weekend, live on Sky.
