It will be a battle of different styles when Richmond and Saracens meet in Sunday's Women's Premiership final.

The fierce rivals will meet at the Twickenham Stoop at 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports 5 HD in what should be a riveting final

The two leading sides in the UK have already met twice this season with the score being one apiece heading into the final.

Richmond beat Saracens 17-13 at Allianz Park in October while a month later, Sarries secured a 20-5 win at Richmond's Athletic Ground thanks to some impressive back play.

The final is a different affair though and Saracens coach Rob Cain has been preparing his side for another bruising battle against Richmond.

"Richmond are a good team - you don't top the league by luck," Cain told Sky Sports. "There is a massive rivalry between the two clubs that goes back many years and that adds a bit more spice.

"We have two different styles - Richmond like to utilise the set-piece and get their forward strike runners coming around the corner. They play a tighter game while we like to chuck the ball around a bit. It should be a really good game to watch."

Saracens got into the final on the back of a tough 19-12 semi-final win against Litchfield last weekend. Sarries had to dig deep for the win and while Cain admits there are some tired bodies, he says preparation for Sundays final is all going to plan.

"The semi-final was a real hard-fought game so there are some tired bodies. We recovered Monday, had a light session Tuesday and are now raring to go," he said.

"This week is about going through a few tactical things and making sure everyone is happy with their roles - it's a matter of keeping it as light as possible."

Mental preparation is also key for Cain and he says it is important to focus on the whole journey rather than focussing solely on results.

"Sometimes people don't enjoy the journey, they just focus on the destination," he added. "We have an ethos here at Saracens to enjoy the journey."

And what a journey it has been. Saracens may be defending Premiership champions but the core of that successful team moved on leaving Sarries to rebuild.

"We had a big turnover of players and lost some really influential players but it happens with every team," added Cain.

"We are very lucky to have those senior leaders who have been outstanding and the players we have brought through the ranks have worked hard and tirelessly to make sure that we are in a great position to defend the title.

"We have a good mix of players who have been there and done it and they really help the youngsters settle and then, as a team, we all push on together."

Success with Saracens has paid off for a number of their players earning England call-ups and the class of 2015/16 is no exception.

"Lottie Clapp has just made her senior debut for England as has Lauren Cattell who is another great player to keep an eye on. We have just great talent all through the squad.

"We are really lucky to have players of the quality of May Campbell who plays hooker for us. She has had an outstanding year."
