Sky Sports confirms first live games of the Heineken Cup
Harlequins will kick-off an unrivalled season of HD Heineken Cup rugby on Sky Sports when they take on Connacht at the Stoop in November. Harlequins earned their spot at Europe's top table with a late victory over Stade Francais in the European Challenge Cup and will be one of five live games to be shown on Sky Sports on the opening weekend. Saturday the 12th of November sees beaten finalists Northampton face a tough opening fixture as they travel to Irish giants Munster while Ulster host Ulster v Clermont Auvergne. London Irish start their campaign with a tricky trip to Edinburgh, while on Sunday Glasgow Warriors host Bath Beaten Heineken Cup finalists Northampton will begin their quest to go one better next season with an away trip to Munster on November 12. Live broadcasts will be supported by our esteemed panel of experts on The Rugby Club, with Stuart Barnes, Dewi Morris and Will Greenwood amongst those joining presenter Simon Lazenby in the studio.
